A little bit of history about the house. … Our mom Ingrid bought the property in the mid 90’s. After being taken by an unscrupulous builder who left her with a shell of a house in 1999, she decided to finish it herself along with her sister Sandy. So this is technically the “house two dolls built” although fondly referred to as the “doll house” by locals. Ingrid sadly passed away in 2009.
We love this house as we know the bruises, wine, tears, laughter, kids getting sun burnt, river excursions, fish that got away, hot days on the beach, kids climbing ladders to pass granny nails (drills, hammers…) parents getting hangovers and all the warmth and love that went into building this house.
So we hope you enjoy our special place as much as we enjoy having you here to make more memories.
